Strawberry Hill Hotel & Spa, 3,100 feet above sea level in Jamaica’s Blue Mountains, reopened after a six-week closure for a property upgrade.

Accommodations in the 12 cottages feature antique furnishings, including mahogany desks and four-poster beds.

Facilities at Strawberry Hill include a spa, hiking trails, gardens, a coffee farm and birdwatching sites. On a clear day, the view from the infinity pool offers a 40-mile vista that takes in Kingston and the surrounding mountains.

The resort reopened with a new menu that incorporates classic Jamaican cuisine and new musical playlists for the public areas compiled by musicican Bruno Guez. IPods with preloaded playlists are available for guests during their stay.
