Published on January 4th, 2010 @ 01:25:05 pm , using 127 words, 1158 views
One of the most luxurious cruise ships at sea, the Regent Seven Seas Navigator, reemerged Monday after a massive makeover.
In an unusually long, 50-day dry dock, the 490-passenger, all-suite vessel received all-new decor designed to evoke the feel of of an elegant estate home as well as new restaurants and more.
Additions include:
-- Prime 7. A new restaurant, pictured above, that will serve prime-aged steaks and chops as well as poultry and fresh seafood. The decor features leather seating and burnished wood walls.
-- La Veranda. An indoor/outdoor casual eatery that replaces Portofino's, the ship's old buffet restaurant. La Veranda features redesigned food stations and will be home to elaborate breakfast and lunch buffets. In the evening diners will select from a menu of regionally themed specialties.

Summer 2010 Shore Excursions Available Online
Monday, November 2, 2009
Dear Travel Partner,
I am pleased to announce that we have made great strides not only in terms of the scope and depth of information that is now available at www.RSSC.com, but also in the ease of management of your clients' deposited Regent Seven Seas Cruises bookings online.
As of Wednesday November 4, 2009, descriptions and pricing for all shore excursions for the 2010 Europe and Alaska programs will be available for viewing online. You and your clients can now appreciate the value of our Free Unlimited Shore Excursion program earlier than ever, and each of the tour descriptions now also feature the true savings of the program by showing the "Retail Value" of each tour. For example, the Panoramic Rome tour that has a Retail Value of $149 is now FREE, and the Four Glacier & Dogsled Adventure in Juneau that has a Retail Value of $699 is now priced at $399 as a Regent Choice tour.
Effective immediately, shore excursions will be available for booking 180 days prior to sailing date. At midnight Eastern Standard Time on the 180th day prior to the ship's departure, a "Book Excursions" link will automatically appear on your client's Booked Cruises in the My Account area of www.RSSC.com, and at that time the tours can be reserved. Please remember that a credit card is necessary to purchase those Regent Choice excursions for which there is a charge. Shore excursion reservations can be made online up until 7 days prior to sailing.
And as a reminder, dining reservations for the specialty restaurants are available at 30 days prior to sailing, when the "Dining Reservations" link automatically appears in My Account at midnight Eastern Standard Time on the 30th day prior to the ship's departure. Dining reservations are also available online up until 7 days prior to sailing.
As we continue to improve our sales and reservations process, we thank you for your support of Regent Seven Seas Cruises. Please do not hesitate to call our Sales Service Team toll-free at 866.720.4111 for further assistance, or Reservations at 800.285.1835.
Kind regards,

Regent Seven Seas - Formal Attire Optional Beginning with New Year's Cruises
Published on October 14th, 2009 @ 01:00:58 pm , using 275 words, 1263 views
As a result of guest feedback convincingly in favor of a less formal policy, Regent Seven Seas Cruises has established a revised dress code. Effective with the 2009/2010 New Year's cruises, guests are respectfully requested to adhere to the following guidelines:
Daytime Dress Code (until 6 p.m.)
During the day, resort style clothing (including shorts, warm-up suits, jeans and sneakers) is acceptable
in all public areas. Bare feet are acceptable only on the Pool Deck. Note: Bathing suits, while acceptable at the Pool Bar and Grill, are not considered appropriate in any indoor venue.
Evening Dress Code (after 6 p.m.)
Two types of dress code have been established for evenings in public areas: Elegant Casual and Formal Optional. The number of Formal Optional nights is dependent upon the length of the cruise, as follows:
• Cruises of fifteen nights or less will be Elegant Casual for the duration
• Cruises of sixteen nights or more will have two Formal Optional nights
Elegant Casual: Skirt, or slacks (no jeans) with blouse or sweater, pant suit or dress for ladies; slacks (no jeans) and collared shirt for gentlemen. Sport jackets are optional. Note: Jeans, T-shirts, baseball caps, shorts, sneakers and bathrobes are not considered appropriate in any public area after 6 p.m.
Formal Optional: While guests are welcome to dress each evening as per the Elegant Casual dress code, during Formal Optional evenings, guests may opt for a more formal choice of clothing including gowns and cocktail dresses for ladies; tuxedos, dinner jackets or dark suit with tie for gentlemen.
