Regent Seven Seas Cruises (RSSC) announced an amendment to the current policy on options made through the call center in North America. Effective June 15, options on cruises more than 90 days away will be extended to seven calendar days from three days. “We understand that guests sometimes need more time to make a financial commitment to their vacation,” said Randall Soy, RSSC vice president of sales. “Our revised policy allows for this, while at the same time eliminating some hassle in the sales process for our travel agent partners.” Under the new policy, bookings that are made 76 to 90 days prior to sailing will be granted an option of three days, bookings made 31 to 75 days prior to sailing will be granted two days, and bookings made less than 30 days prior to sailing will require payment at time of booking, and will be subject to air availability.
